One Month Milestones

I can't believe he's already a month old!! It has gone by way too fast! It's amazing how unproductive I've been even though I'm home all day. I just don't want to put him down even when he's sleeping. I just want to hold him and stare at him. What a wonderful miracle!

Well I thought I would share some of the milestones from the last month. Our little guy is certainly an overachiever.

He was lifting his head up a few times that first week and more consistently by week two.

He had also become a little thumb sucker. People keep telling us that we won't think it's very cute when we are paying for braces down the road, but Nick refuses to give him a pacifier. He thinks that will be an even worse habit to break.

We've also started him on bottles. Not consistently, maybe one every few days or when Nick is watching him. Our pediatrician said that this was a good time to introduce him to it. I had read that sometimes it's hard for babies to switch over and it really should be given by someone other than the mother as not to overly confuse him. So I got the bottle ready and told Nick that I couldn't be in there and to prepare for this not to work right away and I sent them to the nursery. About 5 minutes later I peaked in to see how things were going. To my surprise Bentley had just about half the bottle downed already. Apparently he really is an over achiever. :)

I also wanted to include some cute one month pictures I took.
