Good Days and Bad Days

Yesterday was a pretty good day! I have my first cold, so I have been feeling pretty crummy. I think I surprised Auntie by taking a 3 ½ hour nap- she says she couldn’t reach the remote so she had to watch bad shows like the View and infomercials! I was feeling much better after the morning of R & R, so we went for a walk in the afternoon. Unfortunately for Auntie we got caught in the pouring down rain- I was fine with my special rain flap, but she looked pretty wet and unhappy. She even ran a little bit so we could get home quicker. We were having a great time, and then mommy came home so Auntie started making chicken fajitas. They smelled really good and I wanted some, but they didn’t know that’s why I was crying so they put me to bed really early. I guess it’s true- you gotta enjoy the good things before they’re gone!

Today was not as great. We tried to go for a walk this morning but it was really windy and I was cold so we didn’t get very far. Then we came back and I took a quick nap before Auntie decided we were going to have “fun” by talking in accents for the rest of the day. She kept saying weird things like “nappy” and “bicky” and she keeps calling me a “wee’n.” I don’t get it. Penny chewed on my favourite toy today. Grrr. Auntie finally put on some Adele at 2 o’clock because she knows that’s the only music that makes me stop crying. I got a good 2 hour nap in on the couch after that.

I hope this cold goes away quickly. I’ve got a full line up of social events this fall!
